Call for Volunteers

Sumida Tourism Association is seeking volunteers who can assist us in guiding international visitors using English at various events and hands-on workshops organized by the Sumida Tourism Association. Please read the following guidelines before applying.

Date and Time of Activity: As needed (Activity hours range from a few hours to a full day. Contacted via email)
Location: Event sites in Sumida City, Tokyo
Who can apply: Volunteer opportunities are available only for qualified applicants who are:
-20 years of age or older,
-able to communicate in both English and Japanese,
-can be contacted by e-mail,
-interested in traditional Edo culture and crafts,
-able to participate in the orientation designated by the Association.

Please note that this is a non-paid volunteer opportunity (no transportation expenses, gratuities, honorarium etc. will be paid).

ボランティア募集

墨田区観光協会では、墨田区観光協会が主催する各種イベントや体験型ワークショップにおいて、外国人観光客に英語を使って案内するお手伝いをしていただけるボランティアを募集しています。以下の要項をご確認の上、ご応募ください。

活動日時:　随時（活動時間は数時間～１日程度。メールにて連絡）
活動場所:　墨田区内のイベント会場
応募条件：　下記すべてを満たす方　・２０歳以上　・英語及び日本語の両言語での会話が可能な方　・メールでの連絡が可能な方　・江戸の伝統工芸に関心がある方　・当協会が指定するオリエンテーションに参加できる方

※活動は無償です。（交通費、謝礼等の支給はありません）
